Farmers Markets OZ ("FMOZ", "we", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
What We Collect
We collect limited device and account identifiers to operate the app:
- Push notification token — to deliver market alerts you subscribe to.
- Account ID and email — when you choose to sign in, for cloud sync and account support.
- Anonymous install identifier — when signed out, to link your notification subscriptions to your device.
- In-app analytics events — screen views and feature interactions, used to improve app reliability and experience.
How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect only for:
- App functionality — delivering market notifications you opt into, syncing your subscriptions, and providing account features.
- Product analytics — understanding how the app is used so we can improve it.
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your data for cross-app or third-party advertising tracking.
- We do not share your data with advertisers.
Notifications
When you enable notifications and subscribe to a market, we store your device push token to send you alerts before that market opens. You can unsubscribe at any time by tapping the bell icon, or disable notifications entirely in your device Settings.
Your Account
You can use FMOZ without creating an account. If you sign in, your email is used for authentication and account support. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings, which removes your profile and associated data.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
